HKFP (Hong Kong Free Times) published an article comparing the CCP’s arrests in Xinjiang from 2008 to 2017. From 2013 to 2017, the number of arrests in Xinjiang increased by 306% compared with the previous 5 years. In 2017, Xinjiang accounted for 21.32% of the country.
