The Hong Kong People’s One Million Parade set a record for world peace parade but received no response from the government. The police cleared the venue after 8pm on June 9th. The Hong Kong government issued a statement saying that it would resume sending to China and France on June 12th at 11:07pm. Reading, aroused a lot of people’s anger, some people who were planning to evacuate returned to deal with the police again, and then the heavily armed police faced the unarmed people and began to violently clear the scene.
